Meet Imogen-Leigh
Imogen-Leigh Music is a new United Kingdom music teaching business dedicated to helping learners develop their skills with encouragement, care and a clear sense of purpose. Every lesson is shaped around the individual musician and what they want to achieve.
Imogen-Leigh Martin is a classically trained singer, musician and music teacher with a First-Class BMus (Hons) in Vocal Performance. Her musical journey began with the internationally renowned Cantamus Girls’ Choir, where she developed a strong foundation in choral singing and performance. Alongside teaching singing, piano and music theory, Imogen-Leigh has extensive experience across opera, choral and solo repertoire. Her achievements include performing as the contralto soloist in Handel’s Messiah under Philip Drew, appearing as a soloist with acclaimed Baroque ensemble Red Priest, and performing internationally, including on tour in Ravenna, Italy. She is passionate about creating lessons that are supportive, enjoyable and tailored to each student, helping musicians of all ages and abilities develop strong technique, confidence and a genuine love of music.
